The Major Task Of The Institute
1. Implementation of the elements of the policy at the state level and execution of training.
2. Systematic implementation and need based analysis of all training, research and evaluation programs.
3. Monitoring and quality management of other training centres (Regional Health and Family Welfare Training Centre, District Training Centers, etc.)
4. Operational research.
5. Contribute to policy-making and planning for healthcare sector.
6. Cooperation on State Health Human Resource policy.
7. Training content creation.
8. Necessary coordination with national and other forums.
9. State Information Education and Communication (IEC) and behavior change communication (BCC) cooperation in the construction and implementation strategies.
10. Design and execution of programme for persistent skill and capacity building of all human resources of Department of Public Health & Family Welfare.
11. Study of impact of all training programs and feedback-based programming .
12. Programming and its execution for skill development /capacity building of State Health Department's administrative and managerial structure.
13. Execution of special service need based training course for public health workers.
14. Organizing Training of the Trainers (TOT) for field related master trainers.
15. Conducting Health care related research programme.
16. Operational research related to Healthcare organization development, strengthening and policy reforms.
17. Recording and data management related to health care services.
18. Develop partnership at National & International level for upgrading Health care services.
