In aim to strengthen the Health Services in State via training, research, evaluation and specialized knowledge management the State Institute of Health & family Welfare, Chhattisgarh is established as an apex resource unit at capital Raipur on 19/12/2006.
The building is founded with modern facilities and marching towards its goal on its watchword “Arogyam Sukh Sampada” with swiftness and efficiency. To ensure the execution of quality health services by trainings, evaluation and research projects activities the institute has residential capacity of 50 and training capacity of 120 participants per day.
The institute is equipped to create supporting environment by accommodation and food services for medical officers, health workers with quality departmental knowledge and the perfect hospitality. .
Other main amenities available are internet, documentation, computer lab, board room and audio-visual Equipment. In addition to health department the institute's facilities are being provided to other government departments also. The institute is endeavoring and committed to promote quality of departmental work efficiency by different services in coming year
